Update: Essential Business

April 21st, 2020 by

It is with gratitude and pride that we share with you that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has just updated its guidance to include automotive sales as “Essential Businesses” during the COVID-19 pandemic. The DHS revised their guidance, clearly stating that automotive sales are open for business. This was an incredible demonstration of the automotive dealer body at work and the industry coming together for the common good.

While this is not “business as usual,” the automotive industry is lucky to have the digital retail technology in place to connect with customers virtually and conduct digital sales to abide by the social distancing guidelines currently in place.
